What the map measures
Modeling access to a rare film format, built from theater capacity, a typical day of screenings, and regional population.
Find a typical day of screenings
Most screening counts come from Saturday, August 8, 2026. When a complete schedule was not available, we averaged published showtimes from the following week. We use those counts as a consistent stand-in for a typical day. Actual showtimes will vary during the run.
Compare people with seats
Regional population comes from the U.S. Census ACS. Expand any theater for its seat count, screening count, capacity math, and seat-count source.
